  • Membership in CO2alition is open to all companies. CO2alition today already includes the participation of dozens of Italian companies of different sizes and nature, which include multinationals and SMEs, listed and unlisted companies.

    The requirement to join CO2alition is the bylaws integration of the climate neutrality purpose and the reporting of concrete actions and objectives defined year by year.

  • CO2alition membership involves annual reporting that establishes concrete year-on-year actions and objectives with respect to the climate neutrality purpose, following the reporting model that Benefit Corporations use or other equivalent models.

    For Benefit Corporations, reporting is done through the Impact Report, which is prepared annually, filed with the financial statements, and posted on the company's website.

  • CO2alition, unlike other climate initiatives and pledges, puts the corporate bylaws at the center, as a tool to enable members and shareholders to activate management in the pursuit of climate neutrality, protecting this objective over the long term. The pledge will be aligned and evolve with the targets set by the European Union on climate neutrality.

    Joining CO2alition will help connect dozens of companies, which will be active in the research, development and implementation of new operating and business models designed consistently with European and national targets for ecological transition.

  • CO2alition was born in Italy as a movement with an international spirit. After the first wave with a focus on Italy, the goal of member companies is to spread the CO2alition model in Europe, including through the involvement of companies with the greatest connections and cooperation with institutions, to promote a global expansion of the initiative itself.

  • Every business from this first group becomes an autonomous promoter, within its own ecosystem and network, of the initiative and of the good practice of including climate neutrality within its statutes.

  • Companies joining CO2alition will be asked to contribute a fee proportional to their turnover to take part in the activities scheduled for 2023.
