Why joining?
The new challenges of climate neutrality point to a very clear path: a global roadmap, with a 45% cut in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and complete zeroing by mid-century.
The contribution of business to the realisation of these goals is crucial.
CO2alition represents not only a new formal commitment to neutrality, but also a community of companies choosing to 'go global', with the aim of innovating their practices and processes. Defining the tools and seeking the solutions that will enable them to honour their commitments.
How to join
CO2alition is open to all companies ready for the challenge.
By signing the participation form, the company commits to include within the next 6 months the following climate neutrality objective in the Corporate Purpose of the Statute: "The company commits to implement a progressive evolution of its business and operational model towards a zero climate-neutral economy, in line with the European climate neutrality objectives and the national ecological transition objectives".
Once the membership paperwork is completed, the company enters into a path of training and sharing strategies, best practices, tools, best available solutions and technologies on a solid knowledge base to become part of a dynamic and interconnected community.
Being part of CO2alition means making a concrete commitment to accelerate toward the 'common goal of climate neutrality. To put this vision into practice, the 2024 working model leverages three elements: setting in motion a credible corporate pathway to decarbonization; giving rise to a collaborative movement of companies innovating, exchanging ideas, strategies and best practices; and constantly and fairly communicating companies’ initiatives and achievements.

CO2alition has launched its first international chapter in the Netherlands in May 2024! CO2alition Netherlands aims at engaging more and more Dutch companies to create a local community committed to climate neutrality.
